Enjoy this beautiful spring weather on May 16 through the 18 with incredible live music performances and plenty of food, drinks and local art at the Wildflower Arts and Music Festival in Richardson, Texas! This festival, which started in 1993 as a small community event to celebrate the wild flowers blossoming throughout the city, today has become one of Richardson’s most anticipated musical events of the year.

This exciting event is great for the whole family with everything from a kidz korner, to jugglers, dancers, hula-hoops and a Flippenout performance featuring extreme trampoline stunts. An art guitar auction will also take place, which will serve to benefit the network of community ministries and the fine arts program in the secondary level of the Richardson Independent School District.

Now for the live music, you can expect to see nationally known artists as well as numerous local and regional performers. Some headliners include Joan Jett, Cheap Trick, and Kool and The Gang among several others, but stay tuned for any last minute additions to the schedule of performers and events. You can also take part of the music fun in the Songwriting Contest or by checking out the Battle of the Bands and Budding Talent competition.
