1. Dallas Museum of Art

Founded in 1903, the Dallas Museum of Art has a collection of more than 24,000 works of art from all around the world with everything from ancient artifact to contemporary art. Some of the major items they have are ancient Mediterranean art from Egyptian, Greek and Roman times, European artwork from the 16th to 19th centuries. Admission is free, and it’s easy to spend an entire day admiring the beautiful artwork! 

2. Six Flags Over Texas

Open year-round, Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington, TX has some of the best rides in the state of Texas, and they are constantly adding more! The small kids will enjoy rides like Bugs Bunny Spirit of St. Louie, and the older kids will enjoy the rides like Runaway Mountain. For the adrenalin junkies, rollercoasters like the Titan, Mr. Freeze and the Texas Giant will be perfect! 

3. Dallas World Aquarium

Located near Historic Downtown Dallas, the Dallas World Aquarium is a fun and educational place to take your family. You can see thousands of different seas creatures like sharks, stingrays, jellyfish, sea turtles and even rare leafy sea dragons. However, they have more than just aquatic life at the Dallas World Aquarium. They also have a rainforest exhibit which features free-flying birds like toucans, as well as tree sloths, Orinoco crocodiles and poison dart frogs.
